Ladies That Lunch – Run for the Roses

Join us for an afternoon of Southern charm and Kentucky tradition as Ladies That Lunch celebrates the most iconic two minutes in sports.  We’ll gather around a classic Derby luncheon, beginning with a Derby-inspired charcuterie platter featuring creamy pimento cheese, old-fashioned Benedictine spread, and warm Hot Brown Dip – a true taste of Churchill Downs.  The table continues with a crisp Bibb lettuce salad drizzled in hot bacon vinaigrette, followed by a comforting bowl of slow-simmered Kentucky burgoo.  Dessert is an assortment of desserts – pony pie is included of course! A Derby themed luncheon would not be complete without classic Kentucky cocktails.  Sip on mint juleps, a lily, and bourbon slush as we toast to good friends, good food, and the spirit of the Bluegrass.  Fascinators and jeans are encouraged – the bolder, the better – as we lean into the pageantry and elegance of Derby Day.  Guests will depart with a special homemade Kentucky Derby favor.  Seating is limited.  If you wish to schedule your own Ladies That Lunch Run for the Roses experience at a different time, or at a location of your choice, where I bring the food, the tablescape and place settings please give me a call.  Available for parties of 6 to 8.
